DESCRIPTION:The Office of the State Treasurer (OST) invites Delaware employers to join them on Monday\, May 12\, for an educational event about the Delaware EARNS retirement savings program.\n\nTreasurer Colleen Davis will present an award to EARNS pilot participant LaVante' N. Dorsey to recognize her invaluable work in the community and her advocacy for the program. EARNS\, which officially launched on July 1\, 2024\, is a mandatory program for Delaware small businesses that do not offer their employees a retirement savings plan\, such as a 401(k).\n\nFollowing the award presentation\, there will be a panel discussion featuring Treasurer Davis\, Dorsey\, Representative Lambert\, and Troy Farmer\, program manager for the State Small Business Credit Initiative. The panelists' unique perspectives will provide additional clarity on how employers and employees alike stand to gain value from participating in EARNS.\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there!
