DESCRIPTION:DVI FREE Networking and Recognition Event - 5/15/2019\n\n\nGood Day!\n\n\n\nThe Delaware Division for the Visually Impaired (DVI) provides several no-cost services to the business community. Biannually\, we host FREE "Business Champions" Events\, in New Castle County in May (for Healthy Vision Month)\, and in Kent County in October (in observance of World Blindness Awareness Month\, World Sight Day\, and White Cane Safety Day). At these events\, we:\n\n\n\n1 - Inform the business community about our services (Job Site Evaluations\, Work Site Assessments\, ADA and Sensitivity Training\, Job Placement and Retention\, etc.)\n\n2 - Recognize employers and organizations that support us in our endeavors to provide services to the business and blind community\, and\,\n\n3   Provide Networking opportunities for members of the business community\n\n\n\nThis May 15\, 2019\, from 2:00   4:00\, DVI is hosting our Business Champions   Healthy Vision Month Event with and at the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce. We are inviting our fellow Chamber Members and the business community to attend. Throughout the event\, we will serve Capriotti's of Dover sub sandwiches and refreshments\, and hand out door prizes. DVI's Training Center will display the latest technology used to assist employees that are blind and visually impaired with their daily tasks. BlindSight\, Delaware will bring their mobile store. MidCoast Bank will offer affordable banking solutions for entrepreneurs and small businesses. A Blake Enterprises\, Triad Paperwork Services\, and AT&T will be there.\n\n\n\nThe agenda is as follows:\n\n2:000p.m. - Registration and Networking Chamber and DVI Remarks\n\nBrief Recognition\n\n4:00 p.m.   Close\n\n\n\nTo register\, call (302) 255-4518\, and leave your name\, organization\, title\, phone number\, and email address!\n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there!
