SUMMARY:Members-Only Virtual Legislative Forum
DESCRIPTION:The General Assembly is in session. They are meeting regularly and\, since January\, they have introduced more than 250 pieces of legislation.\n\n \n\nIn any given legislative year\, there are numerous bills and other policy proposals which have the potential to impact how businesses operate and to directly impact their bottom line. That is where we come in. A core part of the Chamber's mission is to advocate for our members at every level of government.\n\n \n\nSo far in 2021\, policy makers have proposed personal income tax increases\, paid family and medical leave\, recreational marijuana legalization\, three minimum wage increase proposals\, and a potential mandate on employers to provide payroll deductions for state managed IRA plans. The list goes on. \n\n \n\nJoin us on April 15\, at 10:00 a.m. for a members-only forum where we will discuss these and other bills and take your questions and your input.
