DESCRIPTION:The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) invites the community to its Multi-Cultural Community Wellness Fair on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025\, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The FREE outdoor event will be held at the Claymont Community Center.\n\n \n\nDBCC is grateful to Claymont Community Center for once again allowing DBCC to utilize its facility for this event. "We're proud to partner with DBCC and DHSS to host this year's Multi-Cultural Community Wellness Fair. Supporting the health and well-being of our diverse community is a core part of our mission. This event is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate our cultural richness\, share valuable resources\, and inspire healthier lifestyles\," shared Allison C. David\, Chief Executive Office of Claymont Community Center. \n\n \n\nThis wellness fair offers a wide array of valuable resources for everyone. Attendees can take advantage of free health screenings for blood pressure\, lead\, glucose\, dental hygiene\, cholesterol\, and vision.\n\n \n\nThe event will also feature family-friendly activities\, including prizes\, giveaways\, and face painting for children.\n\n \n\nA variety of educational resources will be available\, covering topics such as breast health\, mental health\, substance abuse awareness and naloxone training\, housing education\, special needs and autism education\, CPR training\, and more. Additionally\, attendees can connect with resources for early intervention services\, domestic violence support\, resources for minority small business owners\, and assistance with scheduling annual mammograms.
