These free learning sessions feature different resource partners each month\, and will give them an opportunity to engage with our members and the community to let them know about the services they provide to help you grow your business.\n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker - Mike Profit\, MBA - SCORE Volunteer\, Certified Mentor & Delaware Chapter Chairman\, and Financial Planner\nSCORE\, the nation's largest network of volunteer\, expert business mentors\, is dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground\, grow and achieve their goals. Since 1964\, we have provided education and mentorship to more than 11 million entrepreneurs.\n\nSCORE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Thanks to this generous support from the SBA and because of the selfless contributions of our more than 10\,000 dedicated volunteers\, we can deliver most of our offerings at no cost.\n\n\n\nMike Profit worked as a self-employed consultant for hosiery and sock manufacturers and brands\, including start ups\, providing guidance and support with research and development\, prototypes\, manufacturing\, operations\, sales\, and marketing. For one privately held retail chain Mike co-developed a new training program for 1\,200 employees. Mike also served as the North American Marketing Manager at INVISTA\, one of the largest fiber and polymer companies in the world. His areas of expertise for Score is in Business Plans / Startup Assistance\, Marketing\, Public Relations and Sales\, Product Development and Manufacturing.
