Whisman Giordano's Edward Devenny Named Board Chair of the Delaware Society of CPAs

NEWARK, Del. — Whisman Giordano & Associates, LLC (WGA) is pleased to announce that Edward Devenny, CPA, Director, has been named Board Chair of the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA), beginning a one-year term leading the organization.
 
A member of the DSCPA for more than 20 years, Devenny previously served in key leadership roles, including Treasurer and Chair-Elect, before assuming the Society's top volunteer leadership position. He steps into the role at a pivotal time for the organization following the retirement of its longtime executive director after 29 years of service.
 
“I'm honored to serve as Board Chair and excited for the opportunity ahead,” Devenny said. “The Society has a strong foundation, and I look forward to building on its success while continuing to support Delaware's CPA community.”
